The Monaco Red Cross Gala has always occupied a particular place in the Principality’s social season.
For its 77th edition, held on 18 July at the Salle des Étoiles at Sporting Monte-Carlo, the evening brought together charity, culture, gastronomy and performance in support of one of Monaco’s most important humanitarian institutions.
It was polished, certainly, but the purpose was clear throughout the night.

At a glance
- The 77th Monaco Red Cross Gala took place on 18 July at the Salle des Étoiles, Sporting Monte-Carlo.
- Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène attended in their roles as President and Vice-President of the Monaco Red Cross.
- The evening supported humanitarian initiatives assisting vulnerable people in Monaco and internationally.
A flagship Monaco evening with a humanitarian purpose
The presence of Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène underlined the close relationship between the Princely Family and the Monaco Red Cross.
Founded in 1948 by Prince Louis II, the organisation has grown into a central pillar of Monaco’s charitable life, active in emergency assistance, social support and wider humanitarian aid.
Its work reaches families, children, elderly residents and people facing hardship, while also extending beyond the Principality in response to disasters, health crises and vulnerable communities.

The gala remains one of the most visible moments in that calendar, not only because of its setting, but because it gathers the donors, volunteers and partners who help sustain the organisation’s daily work.
Michelin-starred dining and a gesture of artistic hope
The evening opened with a dinner conceived by three Michelin-starred chef Marcel Ravin and prepared by Thierry Saez Manzanares, Executive Chef of Sporting Monte-Carlo.
Dessert came from Cédric Grolet, whose sculptural approach to pastry has made him one of the most recognised names in contemporary French patisserie.

Art also carried a symbolic role during the night.
Contemporary artist Johan Creten donated his work Éloge de l’Espoir, or Praise of Hope, to the Monaco Red Cross, a fitting contribution for an organisation built around resilience, solidarity and practical care.
The traditional charity raffle, presented by Estelle Lefébure and Michel Boujenah, added another fundraising element, with prizes donated by luxury maisons and leading brands.

Fireworks and a world premiere at Sporting Monte-Carlo
As the evening moved outdoors, fireworks lit the Mediterranean skyline above Monte-Carlo, giving the gala one of its most recognisably Monaco moments.
The night then returned to the Salle des Étoiles stage for the world premiere of SOUL! Where Legends Come Back, an original production by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer.
The show celebrates the legacy of African American music and its influence on many contemporary genres, giving the gala a finale that was both celebratory and culturally rooted.

A Monaco tradition built on generosity
What gives the Monaco Red Cross Gala its staying power is the way it combines ceremony with tangible purpose.
The glamour may draw attention, but the enduring value lies in the support it channels toward humanitarian work at home and abroad.
In a Principality known for staging exceptional events, this one continues to stand apart because compassion sits at the centre of the evening.
