King Seiko has added a new limited-edition Vanac to its modern lineup, with the HKF004 bringing a silver-white and Seiko Blue dial treatment to the brand’s angular integrated-bracelet sports watch.
The release ties into Seiko’s 145th anniversary celebrations and leans on a colour theme that has become increasingly visible across the brand’s recent commemorative models.
A 1970s King Seiko Name with a Modern Case
The Vanac name sits in one of the more distinctive corners of King Seiko history, recalling the bolder watches of the 1970s with faceted cases, colourful dials and integrated-bracelet proportions.

For the HKF004, Seiko uses the current Vanac stainless steel case, measuring 41mm across, 14.3mm thick and a compact 45.1mm lug-to-lug.
The case and bracelet mix brushed planes with polished facets, giving the watch the crisp, architectural character that separates Vanac from the more restrained King Seiko designs.
Silver-White Dial with Seiko Blue Accents
The dial is built around a silver-white base with a horizontal stripe texture, giving the surface enough structure without crowding the display.

A blue outer ring adds contrast and nods to the original Vanac bezel language, while the matching blue hands sharpen the anniversary colour scheme.
Vanac-specific details include the oversized V-shaped marker at 12 o’clock and the V-shaped counterweight on the central seconds hand.
The hour markers and hands are fitted with Lumibrite, and the date window is framed and bevelled for a more finished appearance.

The 8L45 Movement Inside
Power comes from Seiko’s automatic calibre 8L45, an in-house movement related to the Grand Seiko 9S65 architecture.
It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, uses 35 jewels and delivers a 72-hour power reserve, with stated accuracy of +10 to -5 seconds per day.
The movement is visible through a sapphire caseback, where striped finishing appears across the rotor, bridges and plates.

The screw-down crown and screw-down display back help give the HKF004 a practical 100 metres of water resistance.
Limited to 800 Pieces Worldwide
The King Seiko Vanac HKF004 will be limited to 800 pieces and is scheduled to arrive in July 2026 through Seiko Boutiques and selected retailers worldwide.
Pricing is set at EUR 3,400, placing it firmly in King Seiko’s premium mechanical range and making it a natural fit for collectors who want a sharper, sportier alternative to the brand’s more traditional dress-leaning models.
