GoS has never been a quiet corner of independent watchmaking, but its latest project with Swedish designer Martin Key pushes the brand into especially theatrical territory.
The GoS x Martin Key 2026 Edition revisits a collaboration that began in 2024, this time with a darker dial treatment, sharper case language and a total run of just six watches.
It’s a compact series for collectors who like their precious-metal watches with a strong point of view rather than a conservative polish.

A sharper Swedish collaboration
Patrik Sjögren’s GoS is best known for Swedish independent watchmaking with a strong craft identity, often drawing on Nordic forms and hand-finished metalwork.
Martin Key brings a different vocabulary, rooted in bespoke leather jackets, ready-to-wear pieces and accessories.
The new watch keeps the collaborative tension intact, but the 2026 edition looks more architectural than its predecessor.
The case measures 41.5mm wide and 12.1mm thick, with a slimmer 8mm profile at the edge.
Its flanks carry octagonal decoration, a Martin Key signature that also informs the more angular lugs.
GoS is offering the case in three precious-metal executions, with three pieces in 18k Swedish red gold, two in platinum and a single watch in white gold.
The hand-cut crown uses a double gasket and contributes to a water resistance rating of 50 metres, while internal shock protection adds a practical note to an otherwise highly expressive object.
The purple-black dial and octagonal detail
GoS dials often revolve around dramatic metal finishing, but this edition takes a different path.
The dial begins with a silver base that is hand-finished with a radiant wave-like pattern.
It is then treated with black rhodium and a translucent purple ceramic coating, creating a near-black appearance that reveals purple tones as the light moves across it.
An octagonal brushed chapter ring frames the display, with diamonds used as hour markers.
At 6 o’clock, the recessed running seconds display carries the brand’s Triskele motif inside another octagonal frame.
The hour and minute hands use GoS’ Viking arrowhead shape, with a small but telling finishing choice.
They are gold-plated first and then rhodium-plated, leaving the tips in gold for a fine contrast against the dark dial.
The GOS03 movement beneath the dial
The watch is powered by the Calibre GOS03, an automatic micro-rotor movement from Schwarz Etienne with GoS-specific finishing and modifications.
It runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers an 86-hour power reserve.
The movement comprises 199 components, with individual bridges and a mixture of brushed, guilloché and coated finishes.
The micro-rotor repeats the dial’s guilloché-style motif, while the click wheel is engraved with the Triskele symbol.
Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement gives the watch a second layer of character beyond the dial-side drama.
Six watches, three metals
The GoS x Martin Key 2026 Edition is limited to six pieces in total, which makes the metal split an important part of the story.
The red gold version is the most numerous with three examples, followed by two in platinum and a lone white gold watch.
Each piece is worn on a semi-polished crocodile leather strap that tapers from 21mm to 20mm and uses a purple leather lining.
The pin buckle is matched to the case in red or white gold and engraved with the Triskele symbol.
Pricing is set at SEK 580,000 for red gold, SEK 648,000 for white gold and SEK 688,000 for platinum, all including 25 percent Swedish VAT.
GoS also lists approximate euro equivalents of EUR 51,400, EUR 57,400 and EUR 61,000 respectively.
