Favre Leuba’s revived dive-watch language is getting a brighter, sportier turn with the Deep Raider Revival Orange.
The new model keeps the compact, retro-minded proportions of the Deep Raider Revival, but adds a colour scheme that nods to the brand’s 1970s Bathy 160 era.

A sharper take on Favre Leuba’s archival diver
Since its relaunch at Geneva Watch Days 2024, Favre Leuba has leaned into the archive with intent rather than nostalgia for its own sake.
The Deep Raider line traces its design language to the Deep Blue dive watch of the 1960s, while this Orange edition pulls its most visible cue from the brighter 1970s Bathy 160 period.
The result is still recognisably part of the Deep Raider Revival family, but the orange details give it a more casual, summer-ready attitude.
The grey dial retains the crosshair layout and sunray finish, with baton markers and a round date aperture placed between four and five o’clock.
Favre Leuba has also adjusted the dial text, replacing earlier Deep Blue wording with a printed depth rating as the collection settles under the Deep Raider name.
Orange accents without losing the vintage proportions
The steel case measures 39mm across and 12.75mm thick, which keeps the watch in the sweet spot for those who like dive watches with older-school dimensions.
Brushed and polished finishing, softly curved case sides and a unidirectional bezel all support the retro feel without pushing the design into costume territory.
The black sapphire crystal bezel insert carries orange detailing, vintage-style numerals and a luminous triangle at 12 o’clock.
On the dial, the sword-shaped hour hand is matched with arrow-tipped minute and seconds hands, all filled with green Super-LumiNova.
The integrated five-link bracelet remains one of the stronger design signatures, with triangular links that help separate the watch from more familiar modern dive-watch silhouettes.
Favre Leuba also includes an orange fabric strap with quick-release spring bars, a useful addition that gives the watch a less formal and more recreational feel.
