Eberhard & Co. has given the Scafograf line a more compact and wearable expression with the Scafograf 200 MCMLIX.
The watch keeps the collection’s recognisable dive-watch character, but moves it into a 39mm case with a clean no-date dial, ceramic bezel and enough technical equipment to feel more than merely nostalgic.
It’s the sort of release that makes sense for collectors who like vintage proportions, but don’t want to give up modern finishing or practical underwater credentials.

A smaller Scafograf with proper dive-watch hardware
The Scafograf 200 MCMLIX sits below the larger Scafograf 300 MCMLIX in size, measuring 39mm across and 12.3mm thick rather than 43mm by 12.6mm.
That reduction matters, because it gives the watch a more versatile profile without stripping away the functional architecture expected from a diver.
The 316L stainless steel case is rated to 20 ATM, equivalent to 200 metres, and mixes satin-brushed surfaces with polished accents for a sharper, more deliberate finish.
A screw-down crown is tucked between integrated crown guards, while the opposite flank carries an automatic helium escape valve at 9 o’clock.
That valve is a specialist feature intended for saturation diving, allowing helium to leave the case during decompression and helping prevent pressure from damaging the crystal or seals.
Most owners won’t need it, but its inclusion gives the Scafograf 200 MCMLIX a more serious technical personality than many vintage-styled sports watches.
The bezel is a 120-click unidirectional type with a black or blue ceramic insert, and the first 15 minutes use vintage-style luminous markings.
Above the dial, a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment reinforces the watch’s period influence while keeping the materials firmly contemporary.
Four dial executions and three ways to wear it
The collection is built around black and blue dial families, each offered in two executions.
Buyers can choose a fumé, or dégradé, finish, or a version with a uniform central colour framed by a silver-toned minute track with circular satin finishing.
Each of the four main dial variants can be paired with three strap or bracelet options, creating twelve references in total.
The leather option is a water-repellent strap with a customised E&C stainless steel buckle.
For bracelet buyers, Eberhard offers the traditional Chassis stainless steel bracelet and, for the first time in the Maison’s history, a polished stainless steel Milanese mesh bracelet.
The Milanese option suits the Scafograf 200 MCMLIX particularly well, leaning into the vintage mood while giving the watch a more distinctive wrist presence.
Both steel bracelets use Eberhard’s 2CLICK folding clasp, which is designed to protect against accidental opening and carries the brand’s Shield emblem.
The 19mm lug spacing also leaves room for personalisation, including NATO-style straps and other compatible alternatives.
The no-date dial and old-school legibility
The strongest visual link to earlier Scafograf models is found on the dial.
Large triangular hour markers appear at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock, joined by the pointed hour hand that has become one of the collection’s signature details.
These elements were conceived for clarity underwater, and they still give the watch its identity at a glance.
The applied markers and hands use polished surrounds filled with vintage-toned luminous material, while the central seconds hand carries a luminous lollipop tip.
That seconds hand is not just a period-correct flourish, since it also makes it easy to confirm the movement is running in low light.
The absence of a date window is one of the watch’s best decisions.
It keeps the dial symmetrical, strengthens the old-school character and avoids disrupting the four large triangular markers.
Inside, the Scafograf 200 MCMLIX uses a Swiss automatic movement running at 4Hz, or 28,800 vibrations per hour, with an approximate 40-hour power reserve.
The screw-down caseback is engraved with a starfish motif, continuing Eberhard’s long association with dive watches and the underwater world.
