Czapek’s Antarctique has always been the brand’s answer to the modern luxury sports watch, but the Tourbillon Victory Green pushes the idea into warmer, more decorative territory.
This new 10-piece edition brings together a yellow gold case, an integrated bracelet and a deep forest green hand-guilloché dial that pulls the eye directly into the flying tourbillon.
It’s a watch built around contrast, with the robustness of the Antarctique shape set against one of the most theatrical dial executions in Czapek’s current repertoire.

Yellow gold and forest green change the Antarctique’s mood
The Antarctique collection arrived five years after Czapek’s founding in 2015, giving the revived name a contemporary sports watch platform rather than another exercise in nostalgia.
Its appeal has always been partly in what it avoids.
Instead of leaning on the hard, angular bezels that define much of the category, the Antarctique uses a barrel-shaped case and a seamlessly integrated bracelet with softer, sweeping lines.

The Victory Green edition takes that architecture and gives it a more opulent temperature.
The 40mm case is yellow gold, with vertical brushing across the sportier surfaces and a hand-polished bevel running along the case edges.
Czapek’s signature hollowed recesses remain part of the silhouette, helping the case read as more sculptural than blocky.

The absence of a conventional metal bezel is one of the key differences between this tourbillon model and standard Antarctique references.
In its place, raised glass box sapphire crystals on the front and back open up the view, though the construction also brings water resistance to 50 metres rather than the 120 metres found on almost all other Antarctique models.
The Singularité dial frames the flying tourbillon
The forest green dial is finished with Czapek’s Singularité pattern, a hand-guilloché motif executed by the brand’s longtime partner Metalem.

The pattern is made from interlocking miniature rhomboids that compress toward the centre, creating the impression of a vortex.
Czapek’s name for the decoration draws from astronomy, where singularity is used to describe phenomena including black holes.
On the wrist, the concept is less abstract than that sounds, because the guilloché is doing practical visual work by pulling attention inward without crowding the tourbillon aperture.

To keep the dial surface clear, the indices are mounted on the elevated flange rather than across the guilloché itself.
They have dark green PVD outlines and Super-LumiNova, while the curved openworked hour and minute hands are executed in gold to match the case and also carry Super-LumiNova.
The flying tourbillon differs from the one used in Czapek’s Place Vendôme collection.

Here, it’s aligned with the vertical axis of the watch, with the barrel, gear train and tourbillon cage arranged from 12 to 6 o’clock.
That linear layout gives the dial a strong sense of order, interrupted only by a long, finely curved openworked bridge crossing the centre.
Calibre 9 keeps the spectacle in-house
The Antarctique Tourbillon Victory Green is powered by Czapek’s calibre 9, an automatic movement the brand describes as conceived, designed and machined in-house.

The movement runs at 3Hz and offers a 72-hour power reserve.
Viewed through the rear sapphire crystal, it shows a gold rotor hand-engraved with the same Singularité pattern used on the dial.
That detail matters because the watch is clearly designed as a two-sided object, with the front delivering the drama and the back reinforcing the craft language.

Czapek also continues to make a point of working with specialist partners, a model that sits naturally with details such as the Metalem guilloché dial.

The Victory Green will appeal to collectors who like the Antarctique’s sports-watch proportions but want the presence of precious metal, an open tourbillon architecture and a dial that’s as much about handcraft as colour.
It’s not the quietest expression of the collection, but with only 10 pieces planned, restraint was never really the point.
