seconde/seconde/ brings the poolside mischief
Romaric André’s humour works because it tends to be specific rather than random, and the C60 Pool Diver follows that pattern.
Inside the minute track sits a secondary scale that breaks the day into leisure activities, beginning with reading at 12 o’clock before moving through sunbathing, poolside lounging, posing for the camera and a final spell of existential contemplation.
The jokes get sharper as you look closer.
The sunbathing section includes a knowingly absurd “Nice Tan / Skin Damage (Ratio)” scale, while the usual date display is replaced by a martini glass marked “Max units per day”.
It’s a deliberately terrible bit of lifestyle advice, especially as the end of the month implies a wildly excessive allowance, but that’s exactly the point.
The solid caseback continues the gag with a stylised diver wearing flip-flops instead of flippers, carrying a martini and using a tube of suncream in place of an oxygen tank.
“How to decompress from your 9-5” appears below the figure, while the outer edge adds the more sensible warning, “Please don’t drink and dive”.

Inside is the Sellita SW200-1, an automatic movement running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 38-hour power reserve.
