Chopard’s Alpine Eagle has grown into one of the more distinctive integrated-bracelet sports watches of the past few years, not by chasing novelty for its own sake, but by refining a clear design language.
The new Alpine Eagle 41 AM continues that pattern with a Moss Green dial and a meaningful technical update inside the case.
It’s the first anti-magnetic version of the collection, pairing the familiar 41 mm Lucent Steel architecture with a Chopard 01.01-C automatic movement fitted with a newly developed antimagnetic hairspring.

At a glance
- Chopard has introduced the Alpine Eagle 41 AM, a 41 mm Lucent Steel model with a Moss Green dial.
- The watch uses the COSC-certified Chopard 01.01-C automatic movement with a hairspring resistant to magnetic fields up to 2,000 gauss.
- It adds daily-wear practicality through a new integrated bracelet micro-adjustment system and the collection’s first anti-magnetic specification.
A moss green dial with Alpine character
The Alpine Eagle’s dial has always been central to its identity.
Rather than a flat colour field, Chopard uses a textured surface inspired by the iris of an eagle, creating a rippled, radial effect that changes as the watch catches the light.
For the Alpine Eagle 41 AM, that texture is rendered in Moss Green, a lighter and more vivid tone than the darker Pine Green used elsewhere in the family.

The result sits somewhere between soft olive and fresh alpine growth, with brighter flashes appearing across the dial under direct light.
It’s a considered choice for a luxury sports watch because green remains expressive without overpowering the rest of the design.
The rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are treated with Grade X1 Super-LumiNova, as are the hour markers, while the black PVD-coated seconds hand carries the familiar eagle feather counterweight.

A colour-matched date disc sits between 4 and 5 o’clock, keeping the dial more cohesive than a contrasting date window would have done.
Lucent Steel and a more practical bracelet
The 41 mm case is made from Lucent Steel, Chopard’s proprietary alloy produced with 80 percent recycled material.
Beyond the sustainability angle, the metal is hypoallergenic, has a bright lustre and is harder than conventional stainless steel, which gives it a practical advantage for a watch intended to be worn often.

The Alpine Eagle case remains one of the collection’s strongest assets.
Its brushed surfaces give the watch a crisp, architectural feel, while polished chamfers and crown guards bring enough contrast to prevent the design from becoming too severe.
The bezel is secured by eight polished screws, each aligned with the same deliberate sense of order that defines the rest of the watch.

Chopard has also improved the integrated Lucent Steel bracelet with a new micro-adjustment system built into the clasp.
That sort of detail matters more than it sounds, especially in warmer weather when small changes in wrist size can make an otherwise well-fitted bracelet feel too tight.
The first anti-magnetic Alpine Eagle
The most important development is inside the watch.

Visible through the sapphire caseback, the self-winding Chopard 01.01-C is a 31-jewel, COSC-certified movement running at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
It offers a 60-hour power reserve, which is enough to leave the watch unworn for a weekend and return to it without resetting the time.
For the 41 AM, Chopard has fitted the regulating organ with a newly developed antimagnetic hairspring capable of resisting magnetic fields up to 2,000 gauss.

That matters because magnetic fields are a constant presence in modern life, from household appliances to everyday electronics.
When a conventional hairspring becomes magnetised, its coils can stick together and disrupt the rate of the watch, often causing it to run fast.
A small crossed-out magnet symbol at 6 o’clock marks the upgraded specification without turning the dial into a technical billboard.

The Alpine Eagle 41 AM is a strong example of how Chopard keeps sharpening this collection without disturbing its core identity.
The Moss Green dial gives it personality, the Lucent Steel case keeps it refined and wearable, and the anti-magnetic movement upgrade adds the kind of quiet engineering improvement that owners will appreciate long after the first impression fades.
