Charlie Paris has updated its Alliance collection with five new automatic models, including two semi-transparent sapphire dial variants and three more traditional sunburst options.
The Alliance has always sat in the cleaner, everyday-wear corner of the French brand’s catalogue, and this latest version keeps that restrained character while adding more mechanical interest and improved practicality.
Smoked sapphire joins the Alliance formula
The headline additions are the Alliance Sapphire models, offered with smoked sapphire dials in blue or white.

Rather than fully exposing the movement, the dials give a filtered view of the mechanics beneath, including the circular date wheel that sits below the surface.
That detail gives the watch a more technical personality without turning it into a full skeleton piece, which suits the Alliance’s minimalist proportions well.
The standard Alliance models continue with more conventional dials in blue, silver-white and sage green, with the green option bringing a softer, slightly warmer tone to the range.

A slimmer steel case with better daily credentials
All five watches use a 39.5mm stainless steel case measuring 46.5mm lug to lug and 9mm thick excluding the crystal.
The case combines brushed and polished surfaces, while the bezel receives circular brushing for a bit of definition around the dial.
The most useful upgrade is the jump to 100 metres of water resistance, a major improvement over the previous 30-metre rating and a meaningful change for an everyday automatic watch.

A double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating sits above the dial, and a sapphire caseback leaves the Swiss automatic movement visible from the rear.
Applied markers, a six o’clock date and a Soprod automatic movement
The dial layout remains balanced, with applied hour markers, a date window at 6 o’clock and Super-LumiNova inserts at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock.
The faceted hour and minute hands are polished and brushed, with luminous inserts to match the markers, while the central seconds hand keeps the display simple.

Inside is the Swiss-made Soprod P024 automatic movement, a familiar alternative to ETA 2824 and Sellita SW200 architecture.
It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, uses 25 jewels and offers a 40-hour power reserve, with stated accuracy of -0/+14 seconds per day.
Straps, bracelet, pricing and availability
Charlie Paris offers the updated Alliance on coloured leather or rubber straps, as well as an H-link stainless steel bracelet with brushed and polished finishing.
The bracelet uses screw-down links, a 20mm width and a tool-free interchangeable system, making it easy to move between a sportier bracelet setup and a lighter strap.
Pricing starts at EUR 895 for the standard Alliance on leather or rubber and EUR 975 on the steel bracelet.
The Alliance Sapphire models are priced at EUR 995 on leather or rubber and EUR 1,075 on the bracelet, with availability scheduled for May 2026.
With its compact case, upgraded water resistance and a choice between clean sunburst dials or more expressive sapphire versions, the renewed Alliance collection should appeal to buyers looking for a slim mechanical daily watch with a modern French identity and sensible pricing.
