Bell & Ross has long treated the cockpit as more than a design mood board, turning flight instruments into wristwatches with a very literal sense of purpose.
The new BR-03 Helipad pushes that idea toward rotorcraft, using the familiar square BR-03 case as the frame for a dial that looks ready for a rooftop landing.
It’s playful, but it still sits firmly in the brand’s established aviation language, with a ceramic case, strong legibility cues and a practical automatic movement inside.

A BR-03 Built Around a Landing Pad
The BR-03 Helipad uses the modern 41mm square case that defines Bell & Ross’s instrument-watch identity.
Here, it’s rendered in micro-blasted black ceramic, with rounded corners, visible functional screws and a circular bevelled bezel surrounding the sapphire crystal.
The proportions keep the watch in familiar BR-03 territory, but the dial treatment gives it a far more animated personality than a conventional pilot’s watch.
A screw-down crown sits at 3 o’clock, while a solid engraved caseback covers the movement.
Water resistance is rated to 100 metres, which is a useful practical detail for a watch that otherwise leans heavily into visual theatre.
The Helicopter Dial Does the Flying
The dial is where the BR-03 Helipad earns its name.
A sloping outer flange carries the minute scale, while the central display is arranged like a helipad, complete with a large H, yellow markings and a graphic aircraft silhouette.
The helicopter’s nose acts as the minute pointer, giving the display a dashboard-like quality without losing the basic time-reading logic.
The rotor blades double as the running seconds indicator, adding motion to the aircraft and making the watch feel more mechanical than static.
Several key elements are treated with Super-LumiNova, which glows green in low light and reinforces the cockpit-instrument character.
It’s an unusual display, but it’s not random decoration.
Bell & Ross has previously explored visual references to radar, airspeed, artificial horizon, gyrocompass and radio compass instruments, and the Helipad feels like a natural expansion of that aviation archive.
Inside the BR-CAL.327 Automatic Movement
The BR-03 Helipad is powered by the Bell & Ross BR-CAL.327, an automatic calibre derived from the Sellita SW300-1.
It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 54-hour power reserve.
The movement also includes hacking seconds, allowing the wearer to stop the seconds display while setting the time more precisely.
That 54-hour reserve reflects the updated version of the base calibre, extending beyond the earlier 38-hour figure associated with older executions of the movement.

The BR-03 Helipad won’t be the quietest watch in the collection, especially on its bright yellow rubber strap.
That’s also the point.
