The updated Maserati GranCabrio has been seen without camouflage during a photoshoot, giving an early look at the facelifted convertible before its expected official launch.
Finished in a pale blue paintwork, the car shows a cleaner but still familiar take on Maserati’s open-top grand tourer formula.
A sharper face for Maserati’s convertible GT
The most obvious changes are at the front, where the bumper and grille have been reshaped while keeping the large Trident badge positioned prominently in the centre.

The headlights also appear to have been lightly revised, giving the GranCabrio a more contemporary expression without pushing it too far from the current design language.
Black details and subtle rear revisions
The light blue exterior is paired with black alloy wheels, a contrast that gives the car a sportier edge than the more traditional chrome-heavy grand tourer look.
At the rear, the facelift brings tweaked taillights and blacked-out badging, small details that help separate this updated model from the earlier GranCabrio.
Folgore power remains the headline act
Inside, a white cabin is expected, continuing Maserati’s emphasis on a more elegant open-air GT experience rather than an overtly track-focused personality.
The electric version will continue under the GranCabrio Folgore name, with expectations pointing to the familiar tri-motor setup producing around 750 hp and enabling a top speed of about 180 mph.
A launch now looks close
The lack of camouflage suggests Maserati is nearly ready to show the refreshed GranCabrio in full, with the facelift aimed at keeping the convertible fresh against a growing field of high-performance luxury GTs.
For buyers who want an open Maserati with Italian design, usable performance and the option of electric power, this update looks like a measured but important step forward.
