Singer Reimagined has built much of its modern identity around chronographs with a strong automotive pulse, but the 1970 DualTrack moves the conversation in a different direction.
The new watch introduces a GMT-led collection with a slimmer case, an integrated bracelet and a reworked movement architecture designed around a more wearable profile.
It still feels unmistakably Singer, only now the brand’s fascination with late-1960s and 1970s design has been channelled into a more compact travel watch.

A sharper case for Singer’s 1970 chapter
The 1970 DualTrack takes its cues from the moment when the softer shapes of the 1960s gave way to more assertive geometry.
Singer points to the angular confidence of early-1970s architecture, furniture, watchmaking and automotive design, with the car world represented through the powerful lines associated with Bertone and Marcello Gandini.
At 40mm across and 12.6mm thick, the stainless steel case is the slimmest in Singer Reimagined’s current lineup.
The case middle is flat and tonneau-shaped, with a sporty brushed surface offset by mirror-polished bevels and a polished fluted bezel.
The integrated bracelet is central to the watch’s new character.
Its links flow directly into the case and draw their shape from racetrack curbing, a detail Singer calls the Track Curb bracelet.
It tapers from 22mm to 18mm at the clasp and includes a fine-adjustment system, giving the watch a more practical daily-wear quality than its sculptural shape might first suggest.
The DualTrack GMT display
The GMT function is one of the most useful complications in contemporary watchmaking, but Singer has avoided the familiar extra hand and secondary scale.
Local time is shown on the central dial, while home time appears on a rotating 24-hour flange around the edge, read at 6 o’clock.
A discreet corrector at 9 o’clock advances the second time zone in one-hour steps, keeping adjustment simple without interrupting the dial architecture.
The 1970 DualTrack will be offered in three dial colours.
Velvet Khaki Green carries a signature Singer tone, Velvet Cobalt Blue gives the watch its strongest contrast, and Velvet Dark Espresso Brown brings a warmer, quieter mood.
All three versions use golden faceted markers with cream-coloured Super-LumiNova, rhodium-plated hour and minute hands with orange luminous inserts, and an orange central seconds hand set beneath a golden cabochon.
The cream and orange accents are a deliberate nod to the colour language of the 1970s, without letting the watch tip into costume design.
Calibre 4 goes slimmer
Inside the 1970 DualTrack is the Calibre 4 Dual Time Slim ST5001, a proprietary manual-winding movement developed from Singer’s Calibre 4 platform.
The key achievement is thickness.
To fit the new 12.6mm case, Singer reduced the movement profile to 6.66mm while retaining four flat-mounted, fast-rotating barrels and a six-day power reserve.
The twin sets of double barrels are arranged to keep the torque curve stable without adding vertical bulk, which is especially relevant in a watch that aims to combine mechanical presence with a more refined wearing experience.
The movement runs at 4Hz and can be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback.
