Richard Mille has put down a more permanent marker in Spain with a new Madrid flagship in the city’s Milla de Oro.
The boutique is the brand’s first standalone, directly operated retail space in the country, despite longstanding commercial ties in Spain since Richard Mille’s early years.
It also arrives with a personal layer, shaped in part by years of encouragement from longtime brand partner Rafa Nadal.

At a glance
- Richard Mille has opened its first standalone boutique in Spain at Calle José Ortega y Gasset 10 in Madrid.
- The 441-square-metre, two-level space combines sales, technical service and private hospitality areas.
- The boutique is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
A Madrid address in the Milla de Oro
The new boutique occupies a 441-square-metre corner location at Calle José Ortega y Gasset 10, placing Richard Mille in the heart of Madrid’s luxury retail district.
Its exterior is deliberately restrained, framed by black windows and white awnings rather than overt spectacle.
Inside, the store opens through dual corner entrances into a four-metre-high foyer, where a circular glass lift and sculptural staircase connect the upper and lower floors.

The layout reflects how high-end watch retail has changed, particularly for brands whose clients expect more than a conventional showroom visit.
Watchmaking on view upstairs
The upper floor is centred on the boutique’s commercial and technical functions, with library-style joinery and two main lounges for client appointments.
One of the more considered details is the on-site watchmaker’s and polishing room, fitted with five counter seats that give visitors a direct view of maintenance and finishing work.

For a brand known for highly technical, low-volume watches, bringing that service element into the boutique experience makes practical sense.
It gives the Madrid address a role beyond display and transaction, especially for existing collectors who need service, consultation or a quieter point of contact with the brand.
Private hospitality below street level
The lower level shifts entirely into hospitality, with a sequence of lounges designed for private hosting and longer visits.

The space includes a dining room, bar, wine cellar, humidor and a custom Richard Mille ping-pong table.
There is also a secluded lounge hidden behind a concealed door in the joinery, underscoring the boutique’s emphasis on discretion.
Architecturally, the concept folds Richard Mille’s international design codes into Spanish references through natural textures, Ecoclay finishes, warm timbers, bronze accents, local artisan tiles and coffered ceilings.

The result is less about reproducing a standard global boutique template and more about giving Madrid its own Richard Mille environment.
Part of a wider global retail network
Madrid now joins Richard Mille’s European boutique network alongside Geneva, Istanbul, London, Milan, Monte Carlo, Munich and Paris.
The brand’s wider retail map includes locations across the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, from New York, Miami and Beverly Hills to Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.

For Spanish clients, the significance is straightforward.
Richard Mille now has a dedicated home in the country, with the privacy, service and hospitality infrastructure expected by its collectors.
The Madrid boutique is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

For a brand whose watches are rarely encountered casually, the opening gives Spain a clearer point of access to the Richard Mille world without diluting the sense of intimacy that defines its retail approach.
