Raymond Weil’s 50th anniversary year has brought the independent Geneva watchmaker back to one of its strongest recent ideas, the Millesime.
The new Millesime Jubilee Chronograph takes the collection’s compact, mid-century language and gives it a celebratory twist, without pushing it into precious-metal formality or archival pastiche.
Limited to 500 pieces, it sits as a more attainable anniversary chronograph with a familiar automatic architecture, a crisp bicompax display and a dial that gives the collection a little more colour.

At a glance
- Raymond Weil has released the Millesime Jubilee Chronograph as a 500-piece limited edition for its 50th anniversary.
- The watch pairs a 39mm stainless steel case with a light blue and midnight-blue bicompax dial, no date window and a glassbox sapphire crystal.
- Pricing is CHF 3,895, EUR 4,275 or USD 4,275, positioning it as an accessible commemorative mechanical chronograph.
A Millesime chronograph with anniversary restraint
The Jubilee Chronograph keeps the proportions that have made the Millesime line feel especially current among vintage-leaning watches.
Its stainless steel case measures 39mm across and 12.9mm thick, with polished and brushed surfaces used to keep the profile from feeling flat.
The stepped bezel and glassbox sapphire crystal do much of the vintage work here, nodding to 1940s chronographs without turning the watch into a costume piece.

Rounded lugs soften the silhouette, while the fluted crown and pump-style pushers keep the chronograph architecture classical and easy to read.
Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, which is enough for daily wear but clearly keeps this watch in the dress-sport chronograph lane rather than the tool-watch category.
The blue bicompax dial is the real anniversary signature
The dial is where the Jubilee separates itself most clearly from the standard Millesime Automatic Chronograph.

Raymond Weil uses a four-part construction, with a light blue central disc framed by a silver grained hour track and a silver azure-finished flange.
Two midnight-blue snailed sub-dials sit at 3 and 9 o’clock, creating the balanced bicompax layout many collectors prefer for its symmetry and restraint.
The 9 o’clock counter handles running seconds, while the 3 o’clock register tracks chronograph minutes.

The central dial alternates gadroon finishing and carries a raised Raymond Weil Genève signature with “EST 1976” set inside a cartouche.
Black hour markers and obelisk-shaped hands are treated with green-glowing Super-LumiNova, a practical touch that also sharpens the contrast against the soft blue and silver tones.
Just as importantly, Raymond Weil leaves the dial free of a date window, preserving the clean horizontal balance of the two-register layout.

Automatic chronograph mechanics at a sensible price
Inside the Millesime Jubilee Chronograph is the RW5030, an automatic cam-operated chronograph calibre using a Sellita SW510 base.
The movement runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is visible through the sapphire caseback, where an openworked Raymond Weil rotor adds a branded finish.
It isn’t trying to present itself as haute horlogerie finishing, but the matte execution suits the watch’s pragmatic character.

For many buyers, the appeal will be the combination of a mechanical chronograph, a restrained case size and a limited-edition anniversary story from an independent family-owned Swiss brand.

It gives Raymond Weil’s half-century milestone a watch with charm, wearable proportions and a well-judged dial, which should make sense to collectors who want a commemorative piece they can actually wear often.
