The building itself dates to 1955, and the renovation has preserved parts of its watchmaking past, including the original floor and doors in the large conference room.

It now serves not only as a production site but as a place for collectors, owners, clubs and retail partners to experience the watches and their connection to Porsche design history.

That shift matters because Porsche Design’s watch business is unusually tied to individual configuration.

The new manufacture gives the brand a setting where a customer can connect a specific Porsche car to a personal watch configuration, rather than treating the timepiece as a separate accessory.
