A supercar meet in Cypress, Texas, took a violent turn when a Toyota Tacoma struck a Nissan GT-R from behind and then crashed into a parked McLaren 570S Spider.
Footage captured from the GT-R shows the moment the pickup makes impact, sending debris across the road and forcing nearby cars and bystanders into a narrow escape.
A quiet lineup turns chaotic in seconds
The scene began as a familiar one for any weekend car gathering, with a lineup that included a Porsche, a Lamborghini, the McLaren 570S Spider, a Ford Mustang and the Nissan GT-R.

Without warning, the Tacoma hits the GT-R from the rear, then slides sideways out of control before slamming into the McLaren and pushing it hard into the curb.
The GT-R and McLaren take the worst of the impact
The damage appears severe, with carbon fiber, plastic and metal scattered across the road after the collision.
Both the GT-R and the 570S Spider look to have suffered major structural and body damage, the kind that can quickly turn a repair estimate into a total-loss conversation.
Other exotics missed disaster by inches
One of the most striking parts of the crash is how close the surrounding cars came to being collected as well.
With several high-value performance cars parked nearby, the direction and timing of the Tacoma’s slide appear to have spared the rest of the lineup by a very small margin.
No serious injuries indicated so far
There has been online discussion about the condition of the pickup driver, but no confirmed details have been released.
Early indications suggest there were no serious injuries, which is fortunate given the force of the impacts and the number of people and cars in close proximity.
For the owners of the GT-R and McLaren, the aftermath will likely come down to insurance inspections, repair feasibility and whether either car can realistically return to the road.
