MeisterSinger has built its identity around watches that slow the reading of time rather than sharpen it to the second.
The Panthero Jumping Hour takes that idea in a more architectural direction, replacing the brand’s familiar single central hour hand with a digital hour window and a displaced minute scale.
Now the model gains two permanent sunburst dial options, giving one of MeisterSinger’s most distinctive recent designs a brighter and more dimensional character.

A calmer take on the jumping hour
The Panthero Jumping Hour is an important watch for MeisterSinger because it moves beyond the pure single-hand formula without abandoning the brand’s slower philosophy of timekeeping.
Instead of a central hour hand, the current hour appears in an aperture at 12 o’clock and advances instantly at the top of each hour.
Minutes are read from a centrally mounted hand that sweeps across an off-centred scale, creating an asymmetrical layout that still feels deliberately measured rather than busy.
At 6 o’clock, MeisterSinger’s rotating sun wheel adds motion and acts as the small seconds display, bringing a visual signature to a dial that already stands apart from conventional three-hand watches.
Blue and golden-yellow sunburst dials
The new dials are the key update, and both use a sunburst finish that radiates from the off-centred pivot of the minute hand.
The blue version pairs a deep sunburst dial with silver-coloured display elements, including the minute track, minute hand and sun wheel.
The golden-yellow model takes a warmer route, using dark grey elements for stronger contrast against the dial.
These finishes follow earlier lacquered black and white editions, along with limited and Souscription versions featuring hand-guilloché silver dials.
The effect is a more contemporary Panthero, especially for buyers who liked the concept of the jumping-hour display but wanted something more vivid on the wrist.
The steel case and MS-JH-01 movement
The watch remains in a 40.5mm stainless steel case with a mix of brushed, polished and blasted surfaces.
A slim bezel gives the dial plenty of room, while a sapphire crystal covers the front and an exhibition caseback opens the view to the movement.
Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, which keeps the Panthero in the dress-leaning daily watch category rather than pushing it toward sport-watch territory.
Inside is the calibre MS-JH-01, an automatic movement using Sellita SW300 architecture with a proprietary jumping-hour module developed with Dubois-Dépraz.
It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers an approximate 47-hour power reserve.
The rotor shape takes inspiration from the fermata symbol in the MeisterSinger logo, a fitting detail for a brand so closely tied to the idea of pausing and stretching the perception of time.
