The standard line includes a black dial with orange accents, a white dial with a blue bezel and a yellow dial with a black bezel.
The fourth version has a blue and turquoise gradient dial and is linked to Certina’s partnership with the Sea Turtle Conservancy.
That edition is limited to 1,959 pieces, a number that connects the founding year of the Sea Turtle Conservancy with the launch year of Certina’s DS concept.
Each model is supplied with a grade 2 titanium bracelet and an additional strap, with strap pairings including silicone, rubber or fabric depending on the reference.
Powermatic 80 and everyday practicality
Inside the DS Super PH2000M is the Powermatic 80.611, an automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve.
It also uses a Nivachron balance spring, which is intended to improve resistance to magnetism, temperature variation and physical shocks.
That specification suits the watch’s broader personality, because this isn’t just a large dive watch with a theatrical number on the dial.
