Tudor has released the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26, a limited-edition chronograph that follows last year’s Carbon 25 and continues the brand’s collaboration with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula 1 team. The new model keeps the carbon fiber Black Bay Chrono case but changes the look with a dial inspired by the team’s VCARB 03 race car.

A Formula 1-tied follow-up to the Carbon 25

The Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 arrives alongside renewed attention on Formula 1 in the United States, following the Miami Grand Prix weekend. Tudor began its partnership with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 team in 2024, and this is already the second limited-edition watch connected to that relationship.

Like the Carbon 25 before it, the Carbon 26 uses Tudor’s Black Bay Chrono format as a base, but with a sport-focused carbon fiber execution. The connection to the racing team is most visible on the dial, which takes cues from the yellow, black and white livery of the VCARB 03 car.

Carbon fiber case and racing colors

The watch has a 42mm carbon fiber case with the familiar Black Bay profile. The material gives it a lighter build than a comparable metal case and a dark, technical appearance that fits the motorsport theme.

Other exterior details include a fixed tachymeter bezel, screw-down chronograph pushers and a screw-down crown. The dial is white with black subdials, while yellow accents add the strongest link to the Racing Bulls visual identity.

MT5813 movement and chronograph specs

Inside the Carbon 26 is Tudor’s MT5813 automatic chronograph movement. It is COSC certified and offers a 70-hour power reserve.

Those specifications place the watch within Tudor’s established Black Bay Chrono family, while the carbon case and team-themed color treatment distinguish it from the brand’s more traditional catalog pieces.

Limited production and pricing

The Tudor Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 is limited to 2,026 pieces and is priced at $8,625.

That price represents a notable increase from last year’s carbon chronograph, which was reported at around $7,500 and drew criticism from some observers for its pricing. The jump adds context to how Tudor is positioning these motorsport-linked limited editions.

Part of Tudor’s broader sports strategy

The Carbon 26 also fits into a larger pattern for Tudor. The brand has recently tied watches to several athletic partnerships beyond Formula 1, including cycling, rugby and soccer.

These releases tend to give Tudor room to use more experimental materials and bolder color combinations than those typically found in its more conservative core lineup. The Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 continues that approach with a lightweight case, race-team color cues and a limited run aimed at collectors following Tudor’s sports collaborations.
