Serica’s newest field watch feels like the missing piece in its own catalog.
The Ref. 7505 Field Chronometer takes the brand’s compact, military-leaning formula and sharpens it into a 35mm watch with real daily-wear credibility.
Rather than simply shrinking an existing model, Serica has reworked the proportions around the smaller case, giving the 7505 a broader bezel, redesigned lugs and a 20mm lug width that helps it avoid feeling delicate.

A 35mm Serica with more wrist presence than the number suggests
The Ref. 7505 is closely connected to the 6190, but its smaller footprint changes the character of the watch.
At 35mm, it leans into classic field-watch sizing while the wider bezel and newly shaped lugs keep the stance purposeful and sporty.
That balance matters for Serica, a brand that has built much of its identity around compact watches that still feel capable rather than nostalgic props.

Minute Critical and TXD enamel dials give the watch three moods
Serica is offering the 7505 with three enamel dial options, split between two distinct layouts.
The Minute Critical Dial comes in black or olive green, with large luminous Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9, circular luminous hour markers elsewhere, and a bright white outer minute track with numerals at ten-minute intervals.
The TXD dial takes a different route, using a tuxedo-style sector layout with black inner and outer sections framing a tan middle band carrying the luminous hour plots.

It’s the most visually expressive version of the three, but it still fits the 7505’s restrained field-watch brief.
The Bonklip bracelet gets a smarter fit
The Bonklip bracelet has become one of Serica’s recognizable signatures, and it has been updated for the 7505.
Curved end pieces now create a cleaner transition between the bracelet and case, working with the revised lug shape rather than leaving the connection to feel like an afterthought.

Serica has also given the bracelet a stronger taper and a new Safe-Lock clasp designed to make adjustment easier when putting the watch on or taking it off.
COSC certification and 200 meters keep it serious
The compact case doesn’t come with a softer specification sheet.
The Ref. 7505 retains 200 meters of water resistance, which puts it well beyond the usual expectations for a small field watch.
Inside is the Soprod M100 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve, and Serica is using COSC-certified chronometer movements across the new watch.
Pricing starts at €1,090 for the Minute Critical Dial versions, while the TXD model is priced at €1,190.
For collectors who like old-school proportions but don’t want old-school compromises, the Serica Ref. 7505 looks like one of the brand’s clearest expressions yet.
