Perrelet Adds Four Natural Stone Dials to the Weekend Collection

Perrelet is often associated with the kinetic drama of its Turbine watches, but the Weekend collection plays a very different role in the catalogue.

Compact, restrained and easy to wear, it’s the brand’s dressier everyday line, and its latest update gives that formula a more characterful face.

The new Weekend time-and-date models introduce four natural stone dials, bringing turquoise, lapis lazuli, tiger’s eye and black onyx into a 39mm stainless steel watch that stays firmly in accessible territory.

The Weekend collection was introduced in 2017 as a quieter counterpoint to Perrelet’s more theatrical pieces.

Rather than leaning on exposed mechanics or visual movement across the dial, the time-and-date Weekend keeps the layout simple with three hands, applied baton markers and a framed date at 3 o’clock.

That restraint works in favour of the new stone dials.

With a thin polished bezel and minimal dial furniture, the material takes the lead, letting colour, veining and natural inclusions define the watch at a glance.

Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial.

The watches are delivered on a seven-link stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp, mixing four brushed links with three polished central links.

Each model also comes with a matching calfskin strap embossed with an alligator pattern, fitted with a steel pin buckle and a quick-release system.

Automatic Soprod power and accessible pricing

Inside is Perrelet’s calibre P-321, an automatic movement using the Soprod A10 as its base.

It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4Hz, and offers a 42-hour power reserve.

The movement drives hours, minutes, central seconds and the date, keeping the watch uncomplicated and aligned with the Weekend’s everyday brief.
