Lexus is adding a much sharper edge to its electric SUV line-up in Australia with the RZ600e F Sport Performance.
It’s the most powerful electric vehicle the brand has put forward so far, and its arrival will be deliberately rare, with only nine cars allocated locally from a global run of 200.
For buyers who want a Lexus EV with genuine performance intent rather than quiet understatement, this is the one to watch.

Nine cars for Australia
The RZ600e F Sport Performance is scheduled to arrive in Australia in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Global production is limited to 200 examples, and Lexus Australia has secured nine of them.
Those cars won’t be spread across the full dealer network, either, with sales handled through eight of Lexus Australia’s 31 dealerships.
That makes this less of a regular model grade and more of a tightly allocated halo version for the RZ range.
A quicker, more focused electric Lexus
The RZ600e F Sport Performance uses front and rear electric motors for all-wheel drive, producing a combined 313 kW, or 420 hp.
Lexus claims the SUV can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, putting it well beyond the relaxed character usually associated with the brand’s electric models.
A 77 kWh battery provides up to 420 km of WLTP driving range, giving the car a useful touring figure rather than making it purely a short-distance performance exercise.
The appeal here is straightforward, because Lexus is wrapping familiar EV refinement in a more assertive performance package.
Carbon aero and limited colour choice
The visual changes are not subtle.
Lexus has fitted the RZ600e F Sport Performance with a carbon-fibre body kit that includes a unique front splitter, rear diffuser, bonnet vents and twin spoilers mounted to the tailgate.
It also rides on 21-inch Enkei wheels, a fitting detail for a car intended to sit apart from the regular RZ line-up.
Australian-delivered cars will be offered in Neutrino Grey as standard, while matte Hakugin White is available for an additional $5,000.

The RZ600e F Sport Performance won’t change the shape of Australia’s luxury EV market by volume, but that’s clearly not the point.
With serious output, a limited allocation and a more aggressive visual treatment, it gives Lexus collectors and performance-minded EV buyers a rare flagship with a very narrow window of opportunity.
