Lebois & Co has been building its modern identity around watches that look back without getting stuck there.
The Heritage Small Seconds is its quietest expression of that approach, a compact steel dress watch with three dial treatments and a chronometer-certified automatic movement inside.
It follows the Heritage Chronograph with something more restrained, drawing from the brand’s 1940s and 1950s watchmaking language rather than from overt sport-watch cues.

At a glance
- Lebois & Co’s Heritage Small Seconds is offered in three dial versions named Baton, Script and Numeral.
- Each model uses a 37.8mm stainless steel case, recessed small seconds at 6 o’clock and a COSC-certified automatic calibre.
- The watch is priced at EUR 2,650 including VAT, with orders open for the 2027 production run and deliveries expected in early summer 2027.
A compact case with period manners
The Heritage Small Seconds sits in a stainless steel case measuring 37.8mm across and 45.2mm from lug to lug.
That puts it firmly in classical territory, but the proportions stop short of costume vintage.
The case is 8mm thick before the double-domed sapphire crystal, with total height rising to 10.5mm once the crystal is included.

That crystal does a lot of the visual work, adding the kind of angled distortion associated with older acrylic crystals while keeping the durability expectations of a modern watch.
Brushed surfaces are paired with polished accents on the bezel and lugs, giving the watch a little lift without making it feel ornate.
A fluted crown at 3 o’clock is sized for practical handling, while the exhibition caseback is engraved and opens the view to the movement.

Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, which suits the watch’s dress-leaning character.
Three dial personalities from the same blueprint
All three Heritage Small Seconds models share the same basic architecture.
Polished leaf-shaped hands sit above a recessed small-seconds display at 6 o’clock, while a fine concentric pattern in the seconds subdial adds a welcome change in texture.

The word “Chronomètre” appears above the Lebois & Co logo at 12 o’clock, signalling the collection’s certified movement standard.
The Baton version is the most contemporary of the trio.
Its sunray-brushed blue dial shifts with the light and pairs applied baton markers with Arabic numerals at the cardinal positions.

A railway-style minutes track circles the edge of the dial, with numerals marking 10-minute intervals.
The Script version leans most clearly into traditional dress-watch language.
Its matte vintage-white dial uses applied Breguet-style numerals, and the restrained minutes track keeps the layout open and calm.

The Numeral model has the most functional personality.
Its matte black dial uses printed Arabic numerals and a railroad-style track, with double-digit markings at each 5-minute interval for a vintage instrument feel.
Of the three, it reads most like an everyday watch rather than a formal one.
A COSC-certified small seconds calibre
Inside the Heritage Small Seconds is the automatic LC-350 calibre, based on the Sellita SW360-1.
That base is the small-seconds version of the SW300, itself positioned as an alternative to the ETA 2892.
The movement runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, uses 31 jewels and offers a 56-hour power reserve.
Each movement is certified by the COSC as a chronometer, which gives the watch a technical point of distinction beyond its mid-century styling.
The display back reveals movement decoration including perlage and a skeletonised rotor bearing the Lebois & Co logo.

For collectors drawn to vintage proportions but unwilling to give up contemporary construction and certified performance, the Heritage Small Seconds makes a measured case for restraint.
Its appeal is in the differences between the three dials rather than in dramatic complication, which is exactly where a watch of this kind should place its emphasis.
