Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Master Ultra Thin Moon has always sat in that useful middle ground between formal restraint and everyday charm.
Now the model returns in a 36mm case in 18k pink gold, a smaller and warmer take on one of the maison’s most recognisable dress watches.
It matters because the proportions feel especially relevant for a gold watch, where elegance often comes from restraint rather than presence.

At a glance
- Jaeger-LeCoultre has introduced the Master Ultra Thin Moon 36mm in an 18k pink gold case.
- The watch combines a silver sunray dial with a moonphase and pointer date display at 6 o’clock.
- It joins the permanent collection and is priced at EUR 23,900, CHF 19,800 or USD 23,100.
A smaller pink gold case for a familiar JLC signature
The Master collection is a central part of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s modern catalogue, sitting alongside better-known names such as the Reverso and Memovox.
Within it, the Master Ultra Thin Moon has become one of the most balanced expressions of the line, thanks to its clean dial layout and useful combination of moonphase and date.
This new version keeps the essential design language intact but moves it into a 36mm pink gold case.

The case is made from 18k pink gold and measures 9.3mm thick, with polished surfaces, a smooth bezel and long curving lugs.
Sapphire crystals are fitted to the front and back, while water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
The result is still recognisably a Master Ultra Thin Moon, but the smaller diameter gives the watch a more traditional dress-watch stance than the long-running 39mm versions.

The dial keeps the Master Ultra Thin formula intact
The dial is silver-coloured with a sunray-brushed finish, matched with gold-coloured hardware.
Jaeger-LeCoultre has kept the familiar Dauphine hands, trapezoidal hour markers and pearl-like minute track, all of which suit the watch’s quiet formality.
At 6 o’clock, the sub-dial combines a moonphase display with a date indicated by a hand.

Because the same movement is used in a smaller case, the sub-dial sits closer to the outer edge of the dial than it does on the 39mm model.
That change also removes the need for a 6 o’clock hour marker, giving the lower half of the dial a clean and coherent finish.
Calibre 925 and the dress-watch details
Inside is Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Calibre 925, a self-winding movement used across the collection.

It runs at 4Hz and offers a 70-hour power reserve, an improvement over earlier generations of the model.
The movement is visible through the sapphire caseback and is decorated with Côtes de Genève, bevelled bridges and blue screws.
It also features an openworked 22k pink gold rotor bearing the JL logo.

The watch is delivered on a black alligator leather strap with quick-release functionality on the strap and pin buckle, making changes easier without disturbing the dress-watch character.
