Both versions use applied indices and silver-toned hands filled with white Super-LumiNova, giving the watch some practical low-light legibility without disturbing the dressier outline.
One crown controls the travel display
The most appealing part of the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture remains its operation.
Instead of hiding pushers or recessed correctors along the case flank, Frederique Constant keeps every adjustment on the onion-shaped crown.
In the first crown position, the movement can be wound manually.
The second position rapidly adjusts the city disc, letting the wearer align the relevant reference city with local time.
The third position sets the time and includes stop-seconds, while the 24-hour disc follows automatically.
Once the system is synchronised, the outer city disc and split day-night 24-hour ring allow all 24 time zones to be read at a glance.
It’s a user-friendly approach to a complication that can easily become fussy in less considered designs.

The FC-719 movement now runs for 72 hours
Visible through the sapphire case back, the FC-719 Manufacture calibre is designed, developed and assembled in-house by Frederique Constant.
The self-winding movement runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is made from 193 components with 26 jewels.
The major technical upgrade is the power reserve, which rises from 38 hours to 72 hours.
That increase comes through a longer mainspring and an optimised barrel alloy, and it changes how the watch behaves in real use.
A 72-hour reserve means the watch can be put down for a weekend and picked up again without immediately needing to reset the world time display.
The calibre is also finished in the manner expected from the brand’s Manufacture line, with sunburst Côtes de Genève, circular graining on the bridges and a satin-finished, snailed oscillating weight.
The engraved Frederique Constant coat of arms further marks it as one of the brand’s in-house movements.
