Monaco’s summer dining calendar has a Lebanese accent again. Em Sherif Monte-Carlo is back at Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo for its fifth season, bringing polished mezze, Mediterranean views and a lively evening rhythm to the heart of the Principality.
At a glance
- Em Sherif Monte-Carlo has reopened for its fifth season at Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo.
- The menu adds blue lobster skewers, Black Angus skewers with zaatar chimichurri and confit lamb shawarma to its Lebanese classics.
- The restaurant pairs terrace dining with cocktails, live music, DJ sets and a Chicha Lounge Bar.
Set within one of Monaco’s most recognisable hotels, Em Sherif Monte-Carlo offers a refined take on Lebanese hospitality, led this season by Executive Chef Yasmina Hayek.
A Lebanese table in Monte-Carlo
Founded by Mireille Hayek in 2011, Em Sherif has grown from Beirut into an international restaurant group with addresses including London, Doha and Monaco.

The Monte-Carlo outpost opened in 2022 and continues the family story under Yasmina Hayek, Mireille’s daughter and a graduate of the Institut Paul Bocuse.
The appeal here isn’t only the location, though the terrace facing the Mediterranean certainly helps.
Em Sherif Monte-Carlo works because it brings the generous rhythm of a Lebanese meal into a Riviera setting without sanding away its character.
What’s new on the menu
This season’s additions lean into grilled seafood, premium meat and slow-cooked comfort.
The Lobster features marinated blue lobster tail skewers served with a fennel condiment, while Le Lahmeh Black Angus brings marinated Black Angus beef skewers together with zaatar chimichurri.
Shawarma Lahmeh takes a richer route, pairing confit lamb shank with artichokes and coriander.
The wider menu remains built around hot and cold mezze, including hummus with chickpea purée, tahini, lemon and extra virgin olive oil, alongside muttabal with charred eggplant, pomegranate and tahini.
Batata harra with spiced potatoes and coriander, plus grilled halloumi with roasted tomatoes, keep the table moving in the familiar Em Sherif style.
Desserts and drinks with a Riviera tempo
Dessert keeps things firmly in the Levant, led by Baklawa Em Sherif with crisp pastry and a pistachio medley.
Meghli brings spiced rice flour pudding topped with nuts, while Coconut Riz bi Halib adds coconut rice pudding, puffed rice nougatine, mango, passion fruit and cardamom sorbet.
The cocktail list is designed to work both with and without alcohol, which suits a long dinner or a late lounge stop equally well.
Options include the Beirut Mule with rum, arak and citrus, the Oasis on the rock with gin, green tea, ginger and verbena, and the Rose Royale with Champagne, Saint-Germain, lime and rose.
Live music and DJ sets run from Friday to Sunday, then every evening through July and August, giving the restaurant a more festive personality as the season builds.
