Delma’s Midland has always sat in the accessible end of the integrated-bracelet sports watch conversation, with a shape that nods to the 1980s without feeling like a costume piece.
Now the Swiss brand has given the automatic Midland a more unusual centrepiece, trading its textured coloured dials for genuine Muonionalusta meteorite.
The result is still recognisably a Midland, but the dial shifts the watch into a more distinctive corner of the category.

At a glance
- Delma has introduced the Midland Meteorite Automatic as a 100-piece limited edition.
- The watch uses a genuine Muonionalusta meteorite dial with a natural Widmanstätten pattern.
- Pricing is set at EUR 1,700, CHF 1,500 and USD 1,900.
Meteorite brings a different texture to the Midland
The key change is the dial, where Delma has replaced the Midland’s usual pyramid guilloche-style surface with a slice of Muonionalusta meteorite.
Once cut and finished, the material reveals the crystalline Widmanstätten pattern that gives meteorite dials their distinctive cross-hatched character.
That pattern is naturally irregular, so each of the 100 watches will have its own arrangement of lines across the dial.

Delma has wisely kept the rest of the display restrained.
Applied indexes, a discreet minute track and palladium-nickel-plated hour and minute hands keep the focus on the meteorite rather than competing with it.
The hands and indexes use white Super-LumiNova BGW9, giving the watch practical low-light legibility without disturbing the cool metallic tone of the dial.

The integrated case stays familiar
The Midland Meteorite Automatic keeps the same stainless-steel architecture as the regular 40mm-class automatic models.
The tonneau-shaped 316L stainless-steel case measures 40.5mm across, 14mm thick and 47mm from lug to lug.
It’s an angular design, softened slightly by brushed surfaces and polished bevelled edges that catch the light around the case and bracelet.

The fluted bezel remains part of the formula, adding a dressier note to what is otherwise a sporty integrated-bracelet watch.
A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating sits over the dial, while the exhibition caseback shows the automatic movement and customised Delma rotor.
Water resistance is rated to 100 metres, which gives the Midland the kind of everyday robustness expected from a modern steel sports watch.

Sellita mechanics and a limited run
Inside is the Sellita SW200-1, a familiar Swiss automatic movement used across a wide range of accessible mechanical watches.
It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 41-hour power reserve.
The display is straightforward, with hours, minutes, central seconds and a date window at 3 o’clock.

The integrated stainless-steel bracelet continues the case finishing, combining brushed surfaces with polished edges.
It is secured by a folding clasp with pushers, keeping the ownership experience practical rather than overly precious.
At EUR 1,700, CHF 1,500 or USD 1,900, the meteorite version carries a modest premium over the regular automatic Midland.

For collectors drawn to unusual natural dial materials, that premium is likely the point of the watch rather than a barrier.

The Midland Meteorite Automatic works because Delma hasn’t tried to overcomplicate it.
It takes a solid integrated-bracelet platform, adds a dial material with genuine visual variation, and keeps the price within reach for buyers who want something more individual than another coloured-dial steel sports watch.
