De Rijke & Co has given the Capri a broader role in its catalogue with three new dial colours that are here to stay.
The Dutch independent’s compact, time-only watch now comes in silver, champagne and salmon, each retaining the slim case architecture and curved sapphire crystal that set the Capri apart from more conventional rectangular designs.
At a glance
- De Rijke & Co has added silver, champagne and salmon dial versions of the Capri to its permanent collection.
- The watch keeps its 28.5mm by 38mm stainless steel case, curved sapphire crystal and manually wound La Joux-Perret D100 movement.
- Each new Capri is priced at EUR 2,495 excluding VAT and is not limited by production number.
A slim case with the screws kept out of sight
The Capri sits in a stainless steel case measuring 28.5mm wide, 38mm long and just 6.5mm high.

Its proportions are part of the appeal, but the cleaner trick is structural.
There are no visible screws interrupting the exterior profile, as the screws that hold the case together are hidden behind the strap.
That gives the watch an unusually uninterrupted outline, helped by sloping case edges and a curved sapphire crystal that changes the way the dial is seen from the side.

It’s a different proposition from Laurens de Rijke’s earlier rotatable-case watches, including the Amalfi Series driver’s watch and the Miffy Moonphase models, but it still carries the same taste for small mechanical and visual surprises.
Silver, champagne and salmon join the permanent line
The new dials bring the Capri into a warmer, more classic register without changing its underlying layout.
Each version uses polished central hour and minute hands, with a red lacquered hand for the snailed small seconds display at 6 o’clock.

The applied markers have been rearranged and are now all of equal length, while a black rectangular outline gives the dial a crisp graphic frame.
At the bottom of the dial, the “Dutch Crafted” signature underlines the watch’s origin without crowding the composition.
Unlike a numbered limited edition, these three Capri models are now part of the permanent collection.

Manual winding keeps the Capri thin
Inside the Capri is the manually wound La Joux-Perret D100 movement.
The calibre is only 2.5mm thick, which is central to the watch’s 6.5mm overall case height.
It runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour, or 3Hz, and offers a 50-hour power reserve when fully wound.

The movement is covered by a solid caseback, again secured by screws concealed behind the strap.
