Bravur has introduced the Grand Tour Sprinter, a new cycling-focused automatic chronograph that shifts the brand’s Grand Tour concept away from a specific race and toward one of the sport’s most decisive roles.
A Grand Tour Chronograph Built Around the Sprinter
The watch takes its cue from the protected rider who is saved for the final attack, then launched toward the finish in the closing kilometer of a race.
That idea appears most clearly at 12 o’clock, where the hour marker is shaped after the flamme rouge, the red triangular flag that marks one kilometer to go.
A 15 Minute Counter for Interval Work
The most practical change is the chronograph layout, with Bravur replacing the usual 30 minute counter at 3 o’clock with a 15 minute totalizer better suited to interval timing.
Inside is the Sellita SW511 automatic chronograph movement, fitted with a custom rotor and offering more than 60 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Purple Accents and Familiar Cycling Cues
The stainless steel case measures 38.2mm across and is paired with a sapphire crystal and a steel bezel carrying a purple aluminum inlay.
The dial continues Bravur’s cycling language with a tarmac-like outer texture, a finish-line inspired minute scale, and an inverted 13 placed at 1 o’clock as a nod to the superstition around race bib number 13.
Launch Price and Strap Options
The Grand Tour Sprinter is available on a black rubber strap, a black perforated leather strap, or a matching steel bracelet.
Pre-orders are open now at $2,550, with deliveries expected to begin in June, and Bravur is including the bracelet at no extra cost during the launch period before shipping it separately later.
It is a natural fit for riders and collectors who want a mechanical chronograph with cycling references that feel specific without turning the watch into a race souvenir.
