Andersen Genève has a particular way of making travel time feel personal, and the Communication 45 Supersonic London leans straight into that instinct.
Created with watch journalist, collector and London Watch Week co-founder Justin Hast, the watch commemorates Concorde’s London-to-New York mythology with a platinum case, a richly worked enamel dial and the brand’s long-running worldtimer module.
It’s a small-run independent watch with a very specific cultural memory attached to it, built around the days when crossing the Atlantic in under four hours was not just an ambition, but a commercial reality.

At a glance
- Andersen Genève has introduced the Communication 45 Supersonic London, a 20-piece worldtimer made with Justin Hast.
- The watch pairs a 38mm platinum case with a cloisonné enamel dial showing Concorde above London’s Tower Bridge.
- It is priced at CHF 54,800 excluding taxes and is available directly from Andersen Genève.
A Concorde worldtimer with a London point of view
The reference is unambiguous, but it’s handled with the kind of craft Andersen Genève collectors expect.
At the centre of the dial, Concorde is shown just after take-off, climbing over London with Tower Bridge below.
The image is executed in cloisonné enamel, a demanding technique in which fine gold wire is shaped by hand to form the outline of the scene before the enamel colours are applied.

It gives the watch its narrative focus without turning it into a simple aviation souvenir.
The dial is framed by an aventurine 24-hour ring, with white mother-of-pearl beneath the daytime section.
At the outer edge, a brown mother-of-pearl city ring carries rose gold city names, while London is picked out in blue.

The idea connects directly to Concorde’s transatlantic legend, the aircraft built by the British Aircraft Corporation and Sud Aviation that operated until 2003.
Platinum casework and almost hidden crowns
The full platinum case measures 38mm in diameter and 8.95mm thick, giving the watch a compact profile by modern worldtimer standards.
It was hand-made by master case-maker Marco Poluzzi, with individually soldered lugs shaped as a blend of teardrop and Cornes de Vache forms.

The crowns are recessed into the case flanks and sit beneath the bezel, which creates an unusually clean silhouette.
Those two crowns are used to set local and travel time, while the rotating city and 24-hour rings allow the world-time display to do its work.
Sapphire crystals are fitted front and back, keeping the enamel dial and movement visible and protected.

The Andersen Genève worldtimer formula
Inside is a vintage A. Schild S.A. base movement fitted with Andersen Genève’s in-house worldtimer module.
The module traces its use in an Andersen Genève-made watch back to 1980, and it has become a defining part of the maison’s identity.
On the back, the rotor is made in BlueGold and finished with a tapisserie-guilloché decoration.
For this edition, Andersen Genève adds an applied 3D silhouette of Concorde, bringing the theme through to the movement side without overpowering the mechanics.
The watch is delivered on a hand-stitched brown suede leather strap with a platinum pin buckle.
